Hello everyone!
In answer to yesterday post, the sun in the end, was only partially kind to me! The sun kept disappearing & reappearing so I've got rather messed up lighting in these photos - But here is a review of the Innisfree Smart Makeup Blender in +Moisture.

Innisfree released the Smart line a while ago & they come in small sizes - Smaller than a normal foundation. People sometimes end up throwing away foundations that either have expired or they just don't use. Sometimes its because of the seasons - for example, you buy different formulas for certain seasons. Like how I prefer very moisturising in Winter & different for the summer. 

It's a waste isn't it? & I admit I'm guilty of it! (=ω=;)
 
So Innisfree made the Smart line bottles small & with different formulas for different skins types & preferences so we can finish up the bottles in what ever season you are in~! It's at affordable prices so it saves money as we will not waste the product & we can use the bottle up before the weather changes!

I chose Moisture as my skin is dry~
I chose this base to make my foundation more hydrating & glowing. Hydration is important especially during the Winter. I also chose this to smooth out my skin texture for a soft, moist canvas!

The blender came in a recycled-soy-inked packaging. It's very simple design but still I think is rather pretty (○´∀｀○) ❤

Jeju mineral powder, Jeju green tea, lasting moisture, radiant beam & smooth fit.

The Blender itself is in a tiny cream-white plastic tube. The size is adorable & convenient for traveling as its very lightweight & only 9cm tall - I can wrap it in my hand! It's very easy to pop this into your bag. 

Nozzle

The tube has a small nozzle. It's practical enough to allow you to get a precise amount of base you need. You know sometimes a tube has too much air so when you dispense product, it sort of explodes too much out? This tube is not full of air so I do not waste product! However, I recommend to press gently to avoid wasting any product. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

This is one drop of the Blender. It's off-white colour but when swatched out, it is transparent.
It's quite thick & has a kind of oily-lotion texture which is expected from a moisturising base. It really does remind me of Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer.

When I blended it out, it was slide-y & only very-slightly sticky - But it only feels like that when blending! It feels very lightweight despite its texture!
Blending is really easy!~ Most of the sticky-oiliness is absorbed quickly with only a tiny residue that makes the skin have a moist glow.❤

You really do not need more a small amount of blender, so despite its tiny capacity of 15ml, a lot goes a long way! So it should last you about a month or two!

The finish is like a moistfull barrier & the skin is left feeling hydrated & soft.(´ω｀)❤

Comparison

Compared to my bare skin side, the difference is really big!~

For those interested & especially those who have oil/combination skin - I did a oil/residue test~

I cut up blotting paper, cut the squares on my swatched hand & then tip my hand over. The less squares mean the residue is not too sticky - only three stayed on!

I did a blotting oil paper test - Oil is produced after 30 minutes due to the instant moisturising effects the blender gives.

Over the hours it only produces a small mount of oil - I forgot to take another photo of it but please take my word, the oil stayed exactly the same in the 3-hour image ヽ(゜∇゜)ノ

So those with oil/combination skin who do want to try this moisture blender, should be quite alright!~

It has the same herbal-floral smell as the Water Glow Cushion. It smells like rosemary!~❤

It took me a while to get used to the Cushion's scent but now I find it pleasant （　´∀｀）☆ The scent is very light & dissipates on the skin after about 5 minutes. 

Sensitive skins, take care!

Here is my cleansed skin with only a little bit of moisturiser.

A little bit dull & tired ㅠㅠ My skin needs a good base to make my foundation flawless!

You can use it in three smart ways!

●  Blend smart blender & foundation (or BB Cream) in a ratio of 1:2. Apply onto entire face & gently pat to finish.● Reapply a minute amount onto areas where further moisture is desired. 

● Use before makeup as moist primer.

I applied a pea size amount to dotted it on my cheeks, chin & forehead & blended from the centre of my face, outwards. I patted my face with warm palms to allow further absorption.

There is an immediate difference!~❤

My skin felt instantly more moisturised & my skin texture felt softer & smoother. I love the brightening dewy glow my skin has with it on~ (´∀`)❤

The blender absorbed very quickly into my skin but I always wait at least 3-4minutes before putting on foundation.

When I touch my fingers to my face, there is only a tiiiiny tacky residue but it barely comes off on to my fingers which goes to show how good the adhesion is. 

Sunlight-Outdoors

Outdoor & in the sunlight, the dewy glow looks natural & subtle. The blender acts as a primer, making my pores look smooth.

Foundation & blender 1:2

 

I applied 1 drop of blender to two pumps of foundation & blended it with my finger.

The foundation I use is watery & the blender seems to make it even more runnier, so coverage is affected a little bit! 

Foundation application when mix with the blender may need more attention to avoid streaking.

Moistfull foundation!~ My skin looks so smooooth with it *-*❤

I just applied the mixture with clean fingers but took care to applying inner to outwards to avoid streaks.

The foundation I used has a semi-matte formula which can look a bit peel-y щ(ಥДಥщ) But it appears so much better with the blender. Here's the comparison with just foundatin + foundation with the blender.

Blender applied + Foundation on top

You can apply the blender before as a primer & then apply foundation on top. I used my Innisfree Water Glow Cushion.

With the blender applied first, the foundation appeared a pretty semi-dewy but not too much! It still felt moisturised but not tacky!

I think using this method is better for those with oily/combination skin or those who do not want a overly dewy finish! (ﾉ*^▽^)ﾉヽ(゜∇゜)ノ❤

 You can apply a extra small amount of blender if you want more luminosity~ A moist highlighter!

 

I applied a pea size amount blender on its own at 10am & by 8pm my skin still felt very moist & looked dewy. My skin looked a tiny bit more dewy than it did at 10am due to the ingredients & my own sebum production (which is little due to my dry skin).

The residue the blender leaves on the skin still had its tacky-texture but its barely there even during those hours of wearing it. I cannot feel it on my face & my skin feels like it can breathe.

It's effects does last quite long & the skin is still feeling soft & smooth! (´∀`)❤

Makeup Durability

Mixed in foundation or with foundation on top has the same results as above but you may find more oil production due to your foundations formula!

 

Another bonus is that I can apply powder blushers on top of the blender with no fear of it going blotchy! Of course, powders will absorb a little bit of moisture the blender provides but not that much. The skin still feels comfortable.

I think its quite a unique little thing! My base makeup looks more radiant & more flawless. My skin feels supple & moisturised <｡`ω´｡>❤ 

You only need a small amount for your entire face (one tube should last you awhile) It's lightweight, easy to apply & absorbs quickly with only a little bit of residue that provides you with that gorgeous dewy glow. My skin feels like it can breathe & feels more comfortable in cold weather or dry rooms.

I love the perfect effects you get when you mix it with makeup. I think it would be great for people with more oil production as you can control the amount of moisture with how much blender you apply.

I've experienced no breakouts or irritation from this product too so thats a bonus. With its reasonable price & unique size & lovely finish, I recommend this product!❤
